"WE THE PEOPLE"...video about Homelessness

I made this video montage with Mandt of Agitdiaries last year, I found the photos, some are from the internet and some are mine. The music is "Tear Drop" by Massive Attack, Liz Fraser....and he assembled it and put it on Youtube. The photos are from around the Country, Seattle, LA, San Diego, Boston, NY, DC, Baltimore, and NOLA, and Portland, and yes, Cleveland.

I am still worried that DC is not acknowledging how many are being hurt here, that due the Housing Situation and the Job Situation there are many more Homeless and people living on the verge....

Lyrics to Liz Fraser's Song Teardrop:::
Love, love is a verb
Love is a doing word
Fearless on my breath
Gentle impulsion
Shakes me makes me lighter
Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath

Nine night of matter
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath
Black flowers blossom
Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath

Water is my eye
Most faithful mirror
Fearless on my breath
Teardrop on the fire of a confession
Fearless on my breath
Most faithful mirror
Fearless on my breath

Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath

Stumbling a little
Stumbling a little.....

Of course DC is not acknowledging the problem... Bush has only been out of office for just over 3 weeks.. He could never let on like this was happening on his watch.. just like Katrina.. it was fine remember... the Feds handled it just fine, they weren't slow, they did everything just right. Why would that be a problem?? I think if you are going to contact anyone you should try to get in contact with Shaun Donavan.. I believe he is the HUD Director. He would be the one who should be looking into this.
I watched House of Cards, on CNBC over the weekend, it talked about the housing and credit crisis, very revealing and very interesting, how instead of as we have been told it was Barney Frank who pushed these loans, it was Bush and Greenspan who enabled it while Barney was pushing for more low income housing so that people who are now homeless would have a place to live. HUD housing developements, and low income apartments and such, instead they were pushed into these ARM and stupid loans by criminal bankers, and they are all walking away scot free.

Powerful video, haunting images. Such an overwhelming problem- these people can't wait.

I know we are in a depression and no major news station, news paper or politician is going to announce this. Of course, we they don't want people to freak out. Although the reality of homelessness for the many is a reality that the few have no idea about.

Lets hope that we can as a people can change all of this around soon. No one should be homeless.
